Jellyfin won't terminate connections properly - SkyLightYT - 2025-04-19 Hello, I've noticed an issue with Jellyfin and Live TV, basically, I am using the free m3u playlist from tvpass, and it only allows 1 connection from your host, and jellyfin facilitates that connection, however, I noticed Jellyfin isn't properly terminating the connection when you actually leave the stream. It sometimes does it properly, but most of the time, it doesn't seem to do it correctly. I am using threadfin as well, as from what I can gather, people say this is a better solution then to simply use the m3u tuner. I notice the buffering issues stopped when using threadfin, to which I guess that problem is resolved, however, due to the limited connections that I can have, and jellyfin won't properly terminate the connections, that locks up threadfin and prevents people from watching anything on it. So, I ask here, does anyone know what's going on? Also, for added context: - The server is hosted remotely (I don't have anywhere to put a server at home) - Jellyfin has ssl via a reverse proxy (I wondered if maybe this was causing problems) RE: Jellyfin won't terminate connections properly - TheDreadPirate - 2025-04-19 Can you reproduce the problem then share your jellyfin log via privatebin.net? |
