File Names - Bazsl - 2025-05-03 I am moving from Plex to Jellyfin. I have many recorded TV shows with names of the format Alleyn Mysteries (1993) - s01e02 - The Nursing Home Murder.m4v. The files are stored in hierarchical folders such as Series Name > Season 01 with Season 01 containing the .mp4 files with names in the form Alleyn Mysteries (1993) - s01e02 - The Nursing Home Murder.m4v. When Jellyfin scanned the files it named every file Alleyn Mysteries. Is there a way to get Jellyfin to parse the filenames correctly? If not, what folder structure and filename format will Jellyfin accept? Thanks. RE: File Names - crobibero - 2025-05-03 https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows/ I think your issue is the dash between the show name and the series/episode number. |
