Serve Jellyfin from a 1TB WD Element SSD? - redheelerdog - 2025-05-06 Can I Serve Jellyfin from a 1TB WD Element SSD? Is is possible by installing Linux? I want to serve JF to a Insignia Fire TV in my 5th wheel camper via USB to the TV from my Western Digital 1TB SSD drive. Ideas on how to serve 500+ movies to a Fire TV in an RV? In the scenario you've described you're missing the server and networking. You could run Jellyfin server without the web client using a recommended SBC for the smallest footprint and low power draw or step it up to a mini-PC if you have other use cases. You'd also need a cheap routing device to create a local network of some sort. |
