User sees all movies in "All Movies" library but can't see newly created.... - TechDawg - 2025-05-07 The specifics: Movies library allows user to view ALL movies but when I create a separate library to something user could see with ALL movies, rescan all libraries, then edit the user and remove "Enable access to all libraries," and grant user access to the newly created library with just one movie (literally only one folder deeper than /movies), he can see the "Library" but not the movie inside the library. What am I missing? ![]() RE: User sees all movies in "All Movies" library but can't see newly created.... - theguymadmax - 2025-05-07 What's your folder structure for the libraries look like? RE: User sees all movies in "All Movies" library but can't see newly created.... - TechDawg - 2025-05-07 This is all in a Container Manager (Docker) instance on a Synology NAS. The actual folder structure is /volume1/media/[individualfoldername]/[moviefile]. The main library (named "Movies) points to /media. The library that's not working (I've tried several) points to /media/Coco. Very interesting side-note: if I go copy any one of the movies into a folder under /volume1/docker/jellyfinht/config/config/users/[moviefolder], re-scan all libraries, go to the user and add that library to his user account > Access and add the new library - it works! Definitely gotta be missing something. |
