Config/Server Data Sharing Between Arch and Windows - FireCinder - 2025-05-07
Hello,
I have recently installed Arch on the same PC as my Windows installation. I already have a Windows Jellyfin server running normally, so I want the Arch server to read the Windows files to continue using the server as on Arch without starting a completely new server.
Here are some things I tried without much success:
- Created symbolic links from Windows to Arch
- Used command lines to redirect file paths (--datadir, --cachedir, etc.)
- Copied Windows files to their respective Arch locations
I have read about options such as Jellyfin Migrator, but I want a way to continue using the server if I am switching between operating systems for certain tasks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
