Combining Entries from different folders - CatWeazel67 - 2025-05-08
Hi,
Just moving a large library over from Plex and some entries are showing as two separate items in the library even though the show is correctly identified.
For instance when some seasons are on my NAS and others are on my external drive.
Is there a setting (or other way) to combine these other than moving files around?

I started writing a response that I'm fairly certain is wrong. As far as I know, disparate seasons of the same show are not supported. Two folders with the same show name will result in two separate entries of the same show (I just confronted this last night, although it was the *same* season rather than different seasons).

On the library settings you have an option to combine shows/movies on multiple folders.

And there you go. I went and looked through a few libraries, but just by chance I went for movies and not series libraries. My original thought was right, thanks for answering correctly.

Thanks to you both, found it now. Think I also didn't realise different settings for each library.
Still got a few episodes showing twice when there are multiple quality files but can live with that as only a few.
