On the LG webOS TV, the audio codec MP2 has been incorrectly transcoded - tuziguai - 2025-05-09

According to the server configuration below, MP2 will be transcoded to AAC

Again, this is that your client is telling Jellyfin it's incompatible with the audio. If you turn off transcoding, your media is still being remuxed. This isn't inconsistent behavior.

I would also like to ask if it's possible to play using remux mode when the option 'Allow audio playback that requires transcoding' is checked?

My LG TV states on the official website that it supports MP2 audio decoding.

MP2 within HLS container will have a lot of compatibility issues and is therefore not supported (by default). If we ever want to support this is has to be like DTS and TrueHD which has an advanced option to enable separately.
