single user cant play anything - fekry101 - 2025-05-20
I have two users
user 1 has access to all libraries
user 2 has access to kids library
user1 can play any movie as expected in kids library
user2 cant play any file in kids library even though all files appear in the library
user 2 and user 1 has same exact parental controls ( ie. nothing is blocked )
been driving me crazy trying to find out what is wrong. anyone have any hints please ?

as soon as i give user2 access to all libraries they can play movies normally, any tips on how to give access to specific users for certain libraries and not all libraries ?

You can grant individual access to libraries by turning off "Enable access to all libraries." Once disabled, you'll see options to select specific libraries you want to give access to.
