Users Connect IP Issue - ajkid93 - 2025-05-24
I am seeing my user connecting from 127.0.0.1. But it is a different device on my lan (separate for jellyfin server). It was not a problem before I upgraded jellyfin. I am running docker with a nginx reverse proxy. I am not sure if it is a issue outside of my lan.
Update: It appears to be an issue with nginx. Connecting directly to the IP it displays the user's IP. Using nginx on the broader web or in my lan shows 127.0.0.1. Is there a new nginx config?

I posted in the incorrect category. But also I solved the problem. I never needed it before, but allowed proxies was not in use. I put the ips for the services and now it works.
