Problems with loading some media files - error 234 - Diesel_101 - 2025-06-04 So some of the media on my jellyfin instance are not working. An example would be in the logs on pastebin. log: https://pastebin.com/wVkMv991 ffmpeg transcode log: https://pastebin.com/5e1gF6t5 My setup is: proxmox instance, Jellyfin running on an ubuntu server VM, media folder is accesible through a "network" share, but it is located on the machine as well. Intel-10500, 256gb boot ssd, 2x8tb drives, 1gbit connection. I do not think it is an issue with being able to reach the media, as it can play media from other subfolders in the "movie" folder. I can navigate to these and play them using windows media player. But I am open to try anything you guys can come up with. I am very new to this selfhosted aspect of media consumption, so I am sorry if I sound dumb. from the logs I see an error 234, which is related to transcoding I think? Would that mean the media might be corrupt after all? What is the best way to test if the media is corrupt? Thank you guys in advance. RE: Problems with loading some media files - error 234 - theguymadmax - 2025-06-11 Is the file being accessed by another program? |
