Faster movies detection - Lock _ - 2025-06-05
Hi guys, is it possible to reduce the time Jellyfin takes to detect new movies added? Plex is almost instant, while with Jelly I need to go to control panel and force a library detection (it does by itself, but it takes like three minutes or so).
I'd like to immediately sort the media added, instead of having to wait.

Add tmdb to folder name (ex: Movie [tmdbid-12345])

Check your library settings, disable unwanted settings.
Jellyfin detects changes on library folders and auto-add new items, no need to manually scan, if that's no the case then you must have an issue somewhere
