Jellyfin tray - Gmjh - 2025-06-07 Hi, there seems to be very little information about the jellyfin tray. And even less info about the message I get when I click on it which is "Jellyfin tray application is already running". What is jellyfin tray supposed to do? I read somewhere that it's supposed to trigger something which looks like the web page for the server but it doesn't even do that. And why do I just get this message and nothing else whenever I click on it? RE: Jellyfin tray - KodiUser1138 - 2025-06-08 I don't even have a JF tray since my last clean install. No start menu entry either. And no idea why! RE: Jellyfin tray - Gmjh - 2025-06-08 (2025-06-08, 02:40 AM)KodiUser1138 Wrote: I don't even have a JF tray since my last clean install. No one can answer what it's for, and you don't even have the thing that no one can give an answer about 🙂 RE: Jellyfin tray - KodiUser1138 - 2025-06-08 IF you right-click the tray icon you get options to start/stop the server open the server location and exit the application. That is what it is for. Basic access to the server itself. I can't do any of that without the tray icon or start menu entry and must rely on a full system restart and hope the JF server also starts. |
