No HDR with subtitles - iRed - 2023-10-02
Hello, when I watch .mkv movies on my LG C2 and enable subtitles, HDR no longer works.
If I turn off hardware acceleration, I can't watch with subtitles at all.
So it has something to do with that. Is there any way to watch subtitles with HDR?
Jellyfin runs in an LXC container with a Ryzen 7 5800U.

The Jellyfin Android TV app doesn't support some subtitle formats and is likely burning them in. Do you have tone mapping enabled (requires hardware acceleration to be enabled)? Without hardware acceleration it is probably trying to CPU transcode, which is slow AF.
To get tone mapping to work, there are a couple extra steps we need to double check were done.
