Subtitle Burn In on Roku Client - FeralHogEnjoyer - 2025-06-10 Hi, first I want to say that I'm incredibly grateful for the jellyfin devs and community making such awesome software. My question is this: Is there any way to make a Roku client ask the server for subtitle burn-in when transcoding? When transcoding, the subtitles timing is sometimes off. My understanding is that burning in the subtitles fixes this (at the cost of a more computationally expensive transcode). I know you can ask for subtitle burn in on the jellyfin web client but this doesn't transfer to the Roku client according to my testing. Thanks! RE: Subtitle Burn In on Roku Client - 1hitsong - 2025-06-10 Roku does not support this yet. If you want to track it, there's already a ticket created for this: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-roku/issues/347 RE: Subtitle Burn In on Roku Client - FeralHogEnjoyer - 2025-06-10 (2025-06-10, 12:45 PM)1hitsong Wrote: Roku does not support this yet.
