Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4 and Mac Monterey (version 12) - JohnHenry - 2025-06-12
Hi,
I am new to Jellyfin but user of Plex for a long time.
A friend of mine talked to me about Jellyfin as a nice alternative!
I am currently running mac os Mojave 10.14.4 in 32bits and would like to know if possible to run Jellyfin on this OS. By doing some research some say yes and some say no.
I could update to a 64bits version to the Monterey (version 12) if not.. will this version work with Jellyfin?
If yes how to download the good version of Jellyfin since the website says if under mac os 14 download x86 version but can't seem to find where to download.

As of 10.10.7, the Jellyfin requires macOS 12 to run, so you have to upgrade your OS first.
The current stable for Intel Macs can be downloaded here: https://repo.jellyfin.org/?path=/server/macos/latest-stable/amd64

I used the new update to download the game and used it properly
