Live TV / DVR log size & management - designingbeing - 2025-06-20
Is there a way to manage the size of the Live TV / DVR log files?
I have a bunch of files in the jellyfin logs folder named

record-transcode-18afe6d8-8b8b-4002-b043-b8a142b4c151.txtetc.
- They're all written within the last 3 days
- There's about 10 files total
- They're occupying about 1GB of space total

The issue seems to stem from detailed FFmpeg output, including skipped HLS tags (e.g., #EXT-X-PROGRAM-DATE-TIME), which can accumulate rapidly for live streams.
