Increase bitrate above 120mbps - Nex1337 - 2025-07-02
Hey
Is it possible to disable the bitrate limit or increase it above 120 mbps? I would like to change this because some 4k UHD videos sometimes reach the 105-110 mbps limit and there are a few milliseconds of stuttering sound. I am using the app on WebOS.

I don't know how to increase the limit, but are you sure your actually exceeding the 120mbps or could it be some other limitation?
The server, your router, as well as tv all have to support gigabit ethernet if wired. most tvs are only 100 mb ethernet so that could be it if it is wired.
it could also be stuttering on some of the 4k uhd videos because of converting from a lossless audio codec your tv doesn't support if the server is really underpowered. Though it would have to be a very old or weak computer for that to be it.
I would check task manager while a video your having problems with is playing on the tv and see if there is a cpu bottleneck or network bottleneck.
