Is there a way to limit the playback of media, such as where if one user is already playing some media, that same media cannot be started by another?
I have found the option for simultaneous devices by one user. But that is not what I am looking for.
Let's say user one has started playback of the title "A"; any other user should not be able to also start that same media.
Similar to me having lent out my physical media to my friend and therefore not having the option to lend it out to another friend.

Unfortunately, there is no direct, out-of-the-box setting in Jellyfin that allows you to limit playback of a particular media item to just one user at a time, preventing others from starting it if it is already playing. Jellyfin is generally designed to allow multiple users to access and enjoy content freely, even if it is the same title.
