Jellyfin Media Player not playing 4k correctly - myroffensivelytot - 2025-07-06
Hi,
I started updating some content in my server to 4k and noticed that jellyfin media player's image is not accurate and looks washed out.
I'm using a MacBook Pro MacOS 15.5 and jellyfin media player 1.12.
I'm attaching 3 comparison photos with Jellyflix side by side.
All movies are 4k HEVC HDR and all the streams were direct played, no transcoding.
