2 possible ideas:
- Your artwork is low resolution
- You're listening to Blonde on Blonde and it's supposed to be blurry

Also possible. If your client doesn't use the API to resize, then you're reliant on whatever resizing the client is capable of, which may not be great.
For my use (Roku, web, Finamp) somewhere between 500x500 and 1000x1000 is perfect.

my client is either the desktop media player or the serve itself.
I would think that .... or maybe not.
