Jellyfin Search Not Showing All Files - citruspickles - 2025-07-11
Searching for certain files in my library will return no results or not return those files in the list of results. I'm not sure where to start. At first I thought it might be because of an underscore, but other files are returned to just fine.
I've tried rescanning the library with no luck. This is a home movie library.
An example of a filename is Wife_1.mp4. it is very simple and there's nothing special about it.
If anyone can give me a direction as to what to look at, I'd be appreciative. I don't really know a whole lot about metadata so I don't know if jellyfin searches by that, nor do I know how to check or remove it.
