Movie restart at specific time - _RUFUR_ - 2025-07-21 For a few movies I just watched recently, the movie automatically restart at constant time. I just watched The Man from U.N.C.L.E and it always restarted when I reached 10:08 for example (it did the same with 2 other timecodes). If I restart from 10:00 for example, it will work for 8s then restart from the beginning but I can go to 10:12 (10:09 seems to bug like 10:0 ![]() I had this bug with 3 movies over the last week, not at the same timecodes for each movie. Could it be caused by the movie file ? Or maybe the jellyfin instance ? I checked my server and the CPU and RAM weren't overloaded. I searched in the jellyfin logs, ffmpeg never exited with something else than 0. The Jellyfin server (version 10.10.7) is hosted in docker containers on a linux machine (Debian 12), watching from Arc web browser (Chromium). RE: Movie restart at specific time - theguymadmax - 2025-07-22 Is it transcoding, and you are running out of hard drive space? RE: Movie restart at specific time - _RUFUR_ - 2025-07-22 Yes, it was audio transcoding but no, I have way enough remaining space on all of my disks. |
