Why don't most jellyfin apps have admin controls? - lreid - 2025-07-22
The controls on the admin webpage for jellyfin web for pausing, playing, sending messages and whatever else it does is what I'm talking about. I notice only a few devices that my users use really have many options, its mostly just the info button, why is this?

Sometimes the users are using a 3rd party client or external player that you can't control.
Some clients also don't have the ability to receive messages from the admins.
