Roku TV and MP3s - New Guy - 2025-07-25
Hello all,
I’m making the switch from Plex and Music Bee over to jellyfin for the no internet usage.
I just set up my server and installed jellyfin on my new TV.
The main issue I’m having is MP3s don’t show up on the jellyfin Roku TV app.
If I search for a band they show up but otherwise the “Music” category is empty.
On the server everything shows in its particular library, movies, tv, music, music videos, and home movies
On the Roku TV everything shows aside from the music/mp3s
I’m running
Ubuntu 24.04.2lts
Server is jellyfin 10.10.7
Roku TV is jellyfin 3.0.6
Any direction would be much appreciated.

I have not, I don’t really have anything else I can access jellyfin with.
The TV and my server are pretty much it.
I may be able to access the server with my laptop if it has an RJ45 jack, I’ll have to check in the morning.

Laptop doesn’t have an RJ 45 so I don’t have anything else that can connect
