App Cannot connect on Hisense Google TV - kmfsousa - 2025-08-05
Hey Everyone!
I’ve got a Hisense Google SmartTV FFM that I’ve downloaded the Jellyfin app on.
I can access it from the browser on my phone and on that TV so its partly working. That was done with the 192.168.x.y:8096 url.
Streaming in the browser doesn’t work, but id rather use the app anyways.
I was able to connect to the Demo on the app but my setup says that it timeout
I’ve mapped my local DNS mapping on my router to a domain: media.mydomain.com and tried with the direct ip url too. No luck.
I’ve tried: Restarts of everything, rejoining wifi networks, deleting and reinstalling apps.
Any recommendations on logs I could look at or where to go next to get the app working?
