Hallo zusammen,
ich habe eine Frage zur Synchronisation zwischen Kodi und Jellyfin:
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Jellyfin-Datenbank extern mit der Kodi-Datenbank zu synchronisieren? Mein Kodi ist so konfiguriert, dass die Datenbank über MySQL ins Internet ausgelagert wurde. Nun frage ich mich, ob das zu Problemen führt.
Konkret: Wenn ich eine Serie oder einen Film über das Jellyfin-Addon in Kodi anschaue, wird dieser in Jellyfin als „gesehen“ markiert, aber nicht in meiner Kodi-Datenbank aktualisiert. Dort bleibt der Film als „nicht gesehen“ stehen.
Ich habe sowohl den Kodi Sync Queue-Server aktiviert, als auch das entsprechende Addon auf dem Client installiert und aktiviert.
Gibt es bekannte Einschränkungen bei dieser Konstellation (Jellyfin + MySQL-Datenbank in Kodi)?
Oder habe ich eventuell etwas übersehen?

I have a question about synchronizing Kodi and Jellyfin:
Is there a way to externally sync the Jellyfin database with Kodi’s database? My Kodi is configured to use a remote MySQL database hosted over the internet. I'm wondering if this setup could be causing issues.
Here’s the situation:
When I watch a movie or TV show using the Jellyfin addon in Kodi, it gets marked as watched in Jellyfin, but not in Kodi’s database – it still appears as unwatched there.
I have Kodi Sync Queue enabled on the Jellyfin server, and the corresponding addon is active on the Kodi client.
Are there any known limitations when using Kodi with a remote MySQL database in this setup?
Or could I be missing something?
