Genres View doesnt display movies, although rendered from nfo - dierochade - 2025-08-09
I run 10.10.7 in a docker container:
I do have a lot of nfos with tags like
<movie>
<title>Some movie</title>
....
<genre>Action</genre>
<genre>Crime</genre>
The genres are correctly displayed when inspecting metadata with the edit mask.
However, only a fraction of my movies is displayed in the "Genres" section.
I tried to manually rescan and restart the server, but problem persists.
This seems to be an issue for other users also: see i.e. here: SOLVED: Not all genres are showing up

I am complete out of ideas how to debug.
Any help is much appreciated!

I have the same problem on 10.10.7. Fresh install on proxmox lct and added movie library. All the movies scanned and have genre listed under each individual movie. However under the movies genres menu item there is the “Nothing here” message.
If I click on a genre in and individual movie I just getting a spinning wheel instead of displaying the list of movies in the genre.
