Playback seems to crash randomly - headyfox - 2025-08-17
I am having an issue with playback crashing after a random period of time. I also notice that intel_gpu_top seems to not work and hang my SSH session when playback stops working.
I am running Ubuntu Server 24.04.03 LTS. All media libraries are NFS mounts from my NAS

I usually have to reboot Ubuntu to fix the issue. I have tried sudo systemctl restart jellyfin but it seems to make no difference. The restart button within Jellyfin seems to make the entire application crash. I have also completely wiped Ubuntu and installed a fresh copy. Then starting from scratch with Jellyfin, no backup. This seemed to work or maybe a week and then it started happening again.
