Metadata issues with Futurama Specials - Lasse Jørgensen - 2025-08-25
Hi everyone
I am having a frustrating issue with jellyfin and metadata for the Futurama Specials. Particular the 4 movies
They are misidentified and their metadata is mixed up:
S00E02 Futurama: Bender's Big Score is identified as The Beast with a Billion Backs
S00E03 Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs is identified as Special - The Lost Adventure
S00E05 Futurama: Bender's Game is identified as Into the Wild Green Yonder
S00E06 Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder is identified as Everybody Loves Special - Everybody Loves Hypnotoad
I have tried to fix it in different ways like adding the correct TVDB id to the filenames and deleting the offending NFO files from the media folder and rescanning but it does not work
The files are named as such
Futurama - S00E02 - Bender's Big Score [tvdbid-342888]
Futurama - S00E03 - The Beast With A Billion Backs [tvdbid-359477].mp4
Futurama - S00E05 - Bender's Game [tvdbid-395236].mkv
Futurama - S00E06 - Into the Wild Green Yonder [tvdbid-427447].mkv
The NFO files are created to the corresponding filename but the contents are wrong.
I can't find out what is going on, and there are no way to "Identify" episodes of series it seems.
