Ignores 'Save artwork into media folders' - timi - 2025-08-25
I have the inverse of this thread
No matter what I do, even though the Library has "Save artwork into media folders" checked, the artwork is ending up in the
/var/lib/jellyfin/metadata location. I have tried deleting and re-creating the libraries to no success.Any ideas what I can do to even debug this?
SOLVED: It was a permissions issue. Thanks for listening. Hope this helps someone in the future. If Jellyfin can't write because of say, mounted drive permissions, it will fall back to the
/var/lib/jellyfin/metadata location. Personally, I would have liked an error message.
