Why is 4K media transcoding to 1080p on a 4K setup? - nothingveryobvious - 2025-08-26
Hello! I have some 4K media that has certain DV profiles or HDR types. When Jellyfin transcodes to a 4K setup (e.g. 4K Roku + 4K TV) but the setup doesn't support a particular DV profile or HDR type, it seems to transcode to 1080p instead of 4K (according to Jellystat). Any way to fix that? Or is Jellystat reporting incorrectly? Thanks!
