Parental Controls + Kodi frontend missing content - jaos - 2025-08-29 I recently set up Kodi on my LG TV as a front-end, since it handles direct playback more reliably than the Jellyfin webos app. But I noticed an issue: my Kids library in Kodi is missing some content that is in the Jellyfin library. I suspect this is related to changes I’ve made in Jellyfin’s Edit Metadata options. Since the content that is missing is the ones I have made the edits to. Background: Unfortunately the Allow items with tags setting doesn’t act as an inverse of Block items with tags. Instead of just whitelisting items with that tag, it requires everything to have the tag in order to appear. As a workaround, I found and was using the Custom Rating option under Edit Metadata as a way to whitelist content. Current setup:
