macOS restore from Time Machine Backup - gebseng - 2025-09-01 Hey, I had to wipe and reinstall my Mac (macOS 13.7.7). Now I'm trying to restore Jellyfin from the Time Machine backup. From the backup, I copied: - the jellyfin.app (Server, v.10.10.6) - ~/.local - ~/.config - I also tried to copy - ~/Library/Application Support/jellyfin, but the Time Machine backup only had a folder names "Jellyfin Media Player" instead, so I copied that too. Now, when I launch Jellyfin, I can see my old Jellyfin server instance (screenshot attached). However, when I select my server, I get the error message "We're unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again." What could I try next? RE: macOS restore from Time Machine Backup - theguymadmax - 2025-09-01 Try accessing it in a Private browser session. RE: macOS restore from Time Machine Backup - gebseng - 2025-09-01 Thanks for the tip, that worked! After that, I deleted the browsers cache, and It works fine now in a regular browser window, thanks! |
