Metadata and Images not able to be downloaded - DragonAndMore - 2025-09-03
Hey everyone, after two weeks of debugging I finally am ready to give up. Maybe some of you have an idea.
Situation: Host OS RaspberryPi5
Using Docker 28.3.3
Jellyfin. 10.10.7
Using Tailscale and openVPN
Connection through tailscale,vpn and to internet directly works without an issue (checked ping to 8.8.8.

Problem 2: Metadata for my movies (and by extension for the shows) are not pulled. I had the same filestructure from a few months ago with it working. I assume that it has a problem with the change from imdb to tmdb - because when I last sused Jellyfin I strictly put everything in imdb notion. Identify media is not possible either. I can (sometimes) find the movie using the imdb-id in "Identify",but once I select it, it just loads for a long time and finally does nothing.

do not get any pictures or metadata for any of the movies though.
A few days beg while debugging I got a "timeout" when Jellyfin tried to connect to tmdb - but I think I solved that and it was unrelated (VPN Issue)
