Random stop to black screen - Spook50 - 2025-09-10
When watching something (regardless what I'm watching; movie, short, show, etc) on my LG TV, I will get a random stop to a black screen. There isn't a freeze or lockup on the server or client though, as I can hit the BACK button on the TV remote and it goes back to the video's description page in Jellyfin with no problem. However, the point where it stopped isn't recorded as if it were to if I had manually stopped or backed out of the video.
Is this an issue that's happened to anyone else?
I'm currently running 10.10.6 on a TrueNAS DragonFish 24.04.2.5 server, using the Jellyfin client app on my LG TV. I attempted to update TrueNAS to ElectricEel 24.10.2.4 but my Jellyfin install didn't even appear in my Apps menu there so until I can figure out how to remedy that, I rolled back to 24.04.2.5
