Circumstances:
I have two separate music libraries.  One has lossy compressed files and the other has FLAC.

There is quite a good deal of overlap between the two in terms of the same album existing in both places in both formats.

Problem:
When I search for a given album, both copies of the album will appear, but until I have opened up the album page, clicked the ... next to the track and looked at "Media Info" I have no way to tell which is which.

When I browse the "Lossless" library, the view only stays in the "Lossless" library until I click on an Artist - then I'm taken to an amalgamated view which contains both libraries again.

What I'm asking for help with:
Is there a way to make it easier to go straight to the FLAC albums when they are available?

Either one of these would resolve my problem, I think:
  • Get Jellyfin to stay within a given library when I browse - i.e. don't switch to an amalgamated view even if the artist exists in multiple libraries - only show me the material from the present library.
  • Enable some kind of overlay with text or an icon indicating the codec used by the tracks in the album - something I can see from the artist page or search results.

Are there any plugins or tweaks that might help me do either of those things?

Further explanation:
For anyone wondering why I have two libraries
  • I have two libraries because my original library was mostly MP3 based (there's a little OGG, M4A and AAC as well) and I'm in the process of re-reripping everything to FLAC.
  • If I only use a FLAC library, I won't have access to albums I only have in lossy formats.
  • If I only use the lossy library I won't have access to the lossless versions of the albums.
  • Because my phones don't support FLAC, I have to maintain MP3 copies even after I have FLAC rips or I won't have local copies on my phone when I travel

Any suggestions or tips would be welcome!
