Hello,
I installed Jellyfin with docker-compose on my Raspberry Pi 5. Because of that, I have disabled any video transcoding for all my movies (audio transcoding is enabled).
I have some DVD backups that I can play on my PC and LG TV (WebOS) via Jellyfin. However, for some reason, my Philips TV usually cannot play my DVD movies properly, especially the longer ones. (I can hear the audio, but the video is black.)
For example, my Philips TV cannot play Cars of the Revolution, but it can play the extra features just fine. At first, I thought the Philips TV could only handle short videos with the MPEG2VIDEO codec. However, it can sometimes play longer ones, such as Climates (2006).
