Access to Zidoo Player - Windsurfer197946 - 2025-09-20
Hi all,
yesterday I collect my first experience with Jellyfin. I'm using a Asustor NAS and installed Jellyfin on my NAS and on a Zidoo Z3000.
I have access to all my Media Data that are hosted on my NAS. So I can add them to the library and play them on my Zidoo.
My Zidoo has an HDD with more Media files. Of course I want to add them too in the librarys. I'm using CIFS to add the folders to my Nas. That works.
Now, if want to add these folders to Jellyfin librarys, all folders are empty.
f.e. I have a folder called "Concerts"
The folder is available on the nas file explorer (where I can also the whole content) --> "/sharefolder/home/concerts"
But when I choose these folder in Jellyfin, the folder is empty.
What is wrong?

1) The folder hasn't been scanned for media yet.
2) Permission issue with the folder being added to Jellyfin.
