Playback doesn't begin with client, web works fine - Verme - 2025-09-26

Hi folks, just checking if I might have a local codec issue or something along those lines. I freshly installed Jellyfin in Unraid, and the Jellyfin client (Win11). I added a small anime library for testing. I cannot play anything using the client, basically I click play, the background of the show comes up, with no audio/video controls and just sits there stalled. If I use the web interface, everything plays without issue. I have not turned on hw encoding yet since I cannot get the basics to function. I'm wondering if this is a known issue, what troubleshooting steps I can take as I'm unsure how to resolve this, thanks.
