albums not showing correct artist image - carlos white - 2025-09-27
Just completed the switch to jellyfin from kodi
movies scanned near flawlessly, tv shows were even better, but the music....
it has scanned and identified albums, artists and seems to want to insert random images in the banner when looking at an album
when i look at the artist view the images are correct
when i look at the album the cover is fine but its a random crapshoot as to the artist images in the banner
sometimes it shows the correct image, sometimes it shows the album cover, sometimes it is blank, but it mostly adds a random artist image, the album in the screenshot does have a cover.jpg in the folder btw so telling jellyfin to default to this instead would be useful
how do i fix this, attempts to rescan don't work
is there a recommended program I can run, the files and server are on ubuntu
