Unable to match a show - jellyram - 2025-10-04 Can't match a show properly even with correct naming conventions, putting the correct imdb id in the folder name, and identifying based on both the movie database and imdb IDs. I'm trying to match Monster (2022) as season 3 came out but it's being quite picky. I've tried: Folder name: Monster (2022) [imdbid-tt13207736] (and without the imdbid) Subfolders: Season 01, Season 02, Season 03 Episode format: Monster (2022) - S03E01 - Mother! [HDTV-1080p][EAC3 5.1][h265].mkv and using the identify option using both the imdb ID and movieDB but no option works. This is a question for this show and any other shows/movies that people have failed to identify - how can I fix it? RE: Unable to match a show - theguymadmax - 2025-10-04 You need to match the metadata provider. TMDB has that listed as three separate miniseries: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/113988-dahmer-monster-the-jeffrey-dahmer-story https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/225634-monsters https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/286801-monster-ed-gein So treat each season as its own tv show. And each series should just have one season. Ex: Monster The Ed Gein Story (2025)\ -- Season 01\ --- S0E1.Mother!.mkv RE: Unable to match a show - jellyram - 2025-10-05 Thank you theguymadmax - I swore it was all one series and I guess IMDB has it like that but separating it worked for Jellyfin, yet kept it all one show in Plex. Weird, but fixed. Thanks again! |
