No Backdrop Metadata from TMDB - Hallo123 - 2025-10-05 Since today, I've been having the problem that I no longer have the option to select backgrounds from the TMDB in any of my libraries. The option is still available for the covers and logos. Is there a way to solve this problem without reinstalling my entire server? Server version: 10.10.7 RE: No Backdrop Metadata from TMDB - crobibero - 2025-10-05 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/14922 TMDb changed how their api works so pulling backdrops is broken, but fixed for the upcoming 10.11 release. RE: No Backdrop Metadata from TMDB - SeaFox - 2025-10-07 If you use the Thumb search, and choose the "All Languages" checkbox it appears Jellyfin (pre 10.11) is now believing the backdrops are horizontal poster images because of the language tagging. Now if you choose one it's going to use it as a Thumb image of course. But you can still use this method to browse the images at least. Middle-click one if you want to open it in a new tab, or right-click and Save Link As to save it locally, and then you can upload it manually to the server with the + button. Cannot load background images - alfalfasecas - 2025-10-08 Hello fellows. Since last week, when I add a media to the library, it is identified but it doesn't load any background picture. Despite I click on search, and I select "Background pictures", it loads nothing so the only way I can put a picture there is loading it manually. Until now, it was searched directly on the sources (IMDB, TMDB...). The logo, miniature and cover are loaded directly from that sources. The trouble is only with the background. Moreover, if I click on a movie/serie that already has a background images, and I click on "search" to replace it, it has no results. I leave some pictures here below And here you can see that other kind of pictures (as the main) are found on the database. I have the issue no matters if I use either 10.10.6 or 10.10.7 (I have the newest version on other computer). Did someone suffer the same issue and knows how to solve it? Thanks in advance Best regards RE: No Backdrop Metadata from TMDB - theguymadmax - 2025-10-10 There was an unintentional bug caused by the recent TMDB api. They have since fixed the issue, and background images should be working again on the current versions of Jellyfin. |
