TV Season Selection when Browsing Seasons - valency - 2025-10-06

This is something I would love to get for ease of use for all users. As it exists right now, the title of the selected TV Show is displayed and so is the season. In order to switch seasons that you are looking through, you have to navigate back to the previous page, select the next season, and so on. This is tedious if you are looking through seasons for a particular episode, or just trying to figure out where you left off (starting fresh, coming from watching on another source, friend is new to show, etc.). I would like to be able to select the show's season via the "Season" subtitle underneath the title of the show instead of having to browse back a page to click on another page that may not be correct either.

I still think the main landing page is good as is for each show, listing each season and the main show's artwork along with its description/metadata. I just think you should be able to browse without having to go all the way back to that page.

I've attached a very quick mockup of what that might look like as a dropdown:

Hello, I just wanted to share that I have been working on a "front end plugin" for the past several months now that has been focused largely on resolving many of the most desired Jellyfin feature requests. The project is called KefinTweaks, and this happens to be one of the many features that we offer. It's actually one of my favorite features, so I really appreciate you for suggesting it!

I am sharing this publicly for the first time today, so I figured I would post here so that anyone interested in this functionality can have it from this plugin until it is implemented in Jellyfin natively. Checkout the Readme for the simple and detailed 3 step installation instructions and let me know if you have any issues!
