Shuffling Series Plays Same Items - gbenoit112 - 2025-10-08
Hello all,
I have an issue I've been noticing happening lately. When I go to a show and choose "shuffle all", it seems to be playing the same bunch of episodes, or at least favor some of the same few while barely showing others. This happens on every show collection I have in my library. At first I saw it would error/skip some due to a transcoding misconfiguration, but after fixing the configuration, I can manually track through the series and play each episode without any errors.
Currently, this is a jellyfin lxc running on Proxmox. Everything else seems to be working great other than shuffle. I've had another older instance of JF I no longer use running within Truenas that did the same thing, so I'm thinking either I'm missing something in settings or it is just a bug everyone else experiencing.
