Browser startup at login - CoolJavelin - 2025-10-11 I am running Jellyfin 10.10.7 on a Linux Mint 22 desktop. It seems to be working fine. Each time I log in to my account (if I logout then login, or restart my computer,) Jellyfin wants to start the server, then pops open a browser link to the Jellyfin page. (http://localhost:8096/web/#/dashboard/activity) How do I stop Jellyfin from opening a webpage using my default browser, in my case Firefox? Sometimes I don't want to start my browser immediately after logging in. If I want to go there, I can click a link in my Bookmarks. Thanks, for your help, Mark. PS. If I log out, then log back in without rebooting, I get a message telling me the Jellyfin server is already running. This implies the server gets started when I log in rather then outside the user before I log in. I may deal with this another time in another post. |
