Scheduled Tasks are not working as expected - devdecrux - 2025-10-14
Hello everybody, I've setup couple of days ago a new Jellyfin lxc container (Basically I am also a new user to Jellyfin). I found out that by running the Scheduled tasks nothing happens. I am talking specifically for the Activity log and the Log page (because those are the two things which I can confirm through the UI). Also since I installed Jellyfin it's already been 5 days and the logs are staying and not being deleted automatically, neither the activity log page entries. What could be the reason? Is it possible that the other scheduled tasks are not running also, for example the cache one or the database optimization one?
A little bit more information: After executing manually the scheduled tasks from the respective page I don't see any warnings or errors in the logs. Also I've moved the transcoding folder and the metadata to an external NFS share through the settings.
Other than that I don't see any other problems.
Edit: Jellyfin is being run on a Debian 12 LXC container.
