access for android phone - wbravin - 2025-10-14
Hello all
I suffered a major debacle 3 weeks ago and i am slowly rebuilding my environment.
One of the last steps is connecting to my Jellyfin server from my android phone.
My Jellyfin server is installed as an APP on truenas scale. The app is installed with a host network box checked and na published url of 192.168.1.124:8096
I can access my Jellyfin server from my Jellyfin clients installed on all my pcs.
Yet when i add this url i get an error "unable to reach server" https://192.168.1.124:8096, HTTP://192.168.1.124:8096
In addition I have Tailscale installed and running on the same truenas server on which is installed Jellyfin server.
As my Truenas server is approved in tailscale admin and I have userspace box checked and advertised exit node checked
I still cannot a access Jellyfin from my android phone when i am trying to connect to via tailscale remote.
I can reach mt truenas server remotely
Is it a problem with my jellyfin app on my android
What have not configured correctly?
