Unable to connet to JF outside of local network - Davy_Ray - 2025-10-17
I can run JF on my local network, no issues. I set it up to use port 8096. I have it on my router to forward port 8096 to the computer that is running JF.
Yet when I try to connect to HTTP://HOMEIP:8096 nothing happens. Nothing loads, it just goes around and around.
I checked with Windows Firewall, and made a rule to allow jellyfin.exe both inbound and outbound.
I even temporarily disabled windows firewall.
No idea what I am doing wrong.
