Geekom Mini PC? Suggestion/Opinion - alb123 - 2025-10-21 My current Jellyfin server is on an ancient Dell running Windows 10. I'm not the most competent PC or Networking guy around, but I handle all the basic stuff just fine. Is using a Geekom Mini PC as a 24/7 Jellyfin server an unwise move? I need to upgrade to Windows 11 and the Dell I have can't handle it. My current Jellyfin Server consists of about 15 External WD drives 10TB to 20TB units. It's gross, I know. My goal is to get a used Supermicro 4U 36-drive server, but I don't have the $$ and time for that at the moment. I really wanted to just swap out my old Dell for something with Windows 11 for now and be done with it. The machine with also be running the common ARR & BT apps. I'm not a healthy person and going through a tough spell at the moment, hence, my quicker and easier is better attitude currently... Are these capable? I could spend a little more, but not much... I just read that AMD is not recommended in the hardware guide, so I am switching my example to: https://www.amazon.com/GEEKOM-Mini-IT13-i9-13900HK-Computer/dp/B0CHF3DY7S?psc=1&pd_rd_w=GMXbO&content-id=amzn1.sym.55c0153f-1fb7-42ff-8241-d1c0f3732289&pf_rd_p=55c0153f-1fb7-42ff-8241-d1c0f3732289&pf_rd_r=V7QBWE4EN3QCY9YPG6HD&pd_rd_wg=SmM8E&pd_rd_r=d54b7c82-630b-496e-b8ca-eafd9acfd31b&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM= https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSPB26NK?ref= |
