10.11.0 Season not added until restart of Jellyfin - MrGadgets - 2025-10-24 Hi! This is possibly already reported but I rather report it once more than not reporting it at all. I've found an oddity with 10.11.0. So lets say I needed to update my GOT folder with season, since they disappeared between the upgrade to 10.11.0. But, they refuse to show up. Even if I replace Metadata, Scan new etc. But if I restart Jellyfin, just a normal restart. I can then go back to GOT, ask it to fetch Metadata again, just scan new files. And tada. They show up. Then I go over to lets say Breaking Bad. I ask it to scan, replace metadata etc. etc. no seasons show up at all... I restart Jellyfin. Do the same, ask it to scan for new updated files, and tada they show up again. Tests another series, again they refuse to show up, repeat the same steps. Restarts Jellyfin. Do the scan, and they will show up. BUT if I restarts Jellyfin, do a scan. It won't work. I have to scan first, then do the reboot. And do a scan again, it will show up. So it's repeatable. it's like a database gets locked or rather the webserver doesn't read the new information until you double do it? Anyway, I wished to report this very bizarre bug. Only big issue I found so far since I found out how I disabled transcoding ;P Ops log file were apparently 4mb, zipped it. |
